Duromine Diet Pills Review
How Duromine works:
DUROMINEĀ® (manufacturer & supplier contact information) is a prescription drug. That is, it has to be prescribed for you by your doctor.Duromine is a drug primary used as an appetite suppressant, typically prescribed for individuals being at increased medical risk because of their weight.
Duromine, being a phentermine-based weight-loss pill, is a synthetic stimulant. Generally, Duromine is supposed to have the same effect as Phentermine acting on your Central Nervous System.
However, Duromine also contains Resin which is said to enable a slow release of phentermine ingredient, so that Duromine effect lasts all day.

Duromine Indications
DUROMINE is indicated as a short-term adjunct in a medically monitored comprehensive regimen of weight reduction based on exercise, diet (caloric restriction) and behaviour modification in obese patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 30kg/m² or greater who have not achieved an adequate clinical response to an appropriate weight-reducing regimen alone.
DUROMINE may appropriately be initiated in overweight patients with a lower BMI when risk of morbidity from other medical conditions is increased. Patients with the following co-morbidities are particular candidates for medical assistance with weight reduction, and may be considered for treatment even if their BMI does not exceed 30 kg/m2:
- sleep apnoea,
- insulin-resistant diabetes mellitus,
- pre-diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance in association with obesity,
- high cardiovascular risk status as a consequence of obesity
Secondary organic causes of obesity should be excluded by diagnosis before prescribing this agent.
Avoid using Duromine if:
- You have any of the following medical conditions:
- very high blood pressure.
- high blood pressure in the lung.
- problems with the valves in your heart.
- disease related to blood vessels in the brain.
- severe heart disease including changes in the rhythm or rate of the heart beat.
- narrowing of the blood vessels due to thickening or hardening of the blood vessel wall.
- overactive thyroid gland.
- psychiatric illness including anorexia nervosa (loss of appetite) and depression.

- Take Duromine first thing in the morning, at breakfast time so that it does not keep you awake at night.
- Swallow Duromine capsules with plenty of water. Do not chew or open the capsules.
- Follow your doctor's instructions exactly and never change the dose yourself. Increasing the dose may not necessarily make you lose more weight or make you lose weight faster. However you will most likely experience more side effects. Your doctor will tell you how long you are to take Duromine for.
While you are using Duromine
- You should regularly visit your doctor for a medical check up.

I have a box of Duromine pills sitting in front of me, percribed by my doctor. My new years resolution is to loose weight and I want to only use these pills as a kick start toward my lose weight program. What are your comments and what advice do you have on these pills. By the way I'm from New Zealand and I weigh 134kg's. To heavy!!!!
As long as you intend to use Duromine following your doctor's prescription. Then it is fine.
My advice is to focus on the long term resluts by changing your lifestyle and eating habits gradually and doing more exercise. Diet pills are for urgent and short term usage (as you said "a kick start") and must always be taken according to your doctor prescription (which you did).
I'm sure you'll succeed if you believe you can do it.( yes you can do it). So patience, patience and patience.
good luck dear :)

Hi, I have been taking Duromine 15mg for 2 and a half months and over the last few weeks I have found that my skin is breaking out and that nothing is healing properly. I developed a blister and it has been wet for 2 weeks, it doesn't scab over. is this to be expected.
Hi I have started taking duromine 30mg been on them now for only 9 days, i feel as they are not working all that well. I feel more tiered some times, an other times i cant sleep. I dont eat as much as i used to. Is this normal.?
As you know, Duromine is a prescription drug, an appetite suppressant that acts on your Central Nervous System.
The Duromine (15mg, 30mg or 40mg) side effects mentioned in the review above includes what you are feeling.
"normal" is sometimes a dangerous word to use in health issues without knowing all other factors. You should inform your doctor.

I am looking for someone to assist me in getting ahold of some Duromine. I am 155cm tall (or small i should say) and i weigh almost 80kgs!!! I have taken it before and found it had amazing results...but now my doctor says i should just eat better. I found i lost over 15kgs but now i am keen to keep losingthe weight with tthe assistance of Doromine. Is anyone happy to help me PLEASE gina.binetti@hotmail.com
Im on my second day of duromine 30mg, and already i am seeing the symptoms that my doctor explained would happen (inscreased heart rate, dry mouth, a mild case of insomnia or an iability to sleep, shortness of breath, vomiting, diorhea), it concerns me to hear that people are out there taking a prescibed medicine without first consulting a doctor. Your doctor knows what strength is best suited for you, your size and your lifestyle. if your doctor says you dont need to take duromine, then dont. They are trained in ensuring your health and safety, so rather that assuming that you know everything there is to know, perhaps you should speak to your doctor. Think about your health above all else. Furthermore, if you are taking medicine that has not been prescibed to you, how can you ensure that you are actually taking duromine and not a dodgy repleca. be mindful of your health and safty and do not risk falling ill by bad choices.
I have been taking it for over a month now with no effects what so ever. 30mg. this is dangerous but I find that taking merida with it is the only time it takes effect. I also take the 37.5 mg phentermine and still no effect. My blood pressure has been fine so far too. any ideas?
Actually, you should contact your doctor whenever you feel not good while taking duromine pill. It is indeed a prescription pill, either 15mg, 30mg or 40mg capsules, and should be closely monitored by your doctor for any negative side effects, contraindication or how well it's suiting you.
HI..I have taken duromine for only 2 weeks before married, two month ago.it works..i lost 7kg in just 2 weeks.and that's it.i stop taking duromine.i am planning to pregnant as soon after married. but now, after 2 1/2 month the result still negative.from what i've heard, duromine not suitable for who planning to pregnant.and if so, i really need to know, until when and how long is the effect?please...help me.
hi,
Duromine is, anyway, a prescription drug, meaning it should closely be monitored by your own doctor. As mentioned in this Duromine review, among other,
you should consult your doctor if you:
- are pregnant or intending to become pregnant
I strongly advice you to discuss this issue with your doctor as pregnancy and diet pill(Duromine in this case) combination is an extremely sensitive and serious matter that only your own doctor can truly give a healthy answer to.
good luck!

hi Janet, you should see your own doctor. If duromine is the right solution for your case, I'm sure your doctor we'll prescribe it for you. Duromine is not for nothing a prescription drug, it is so, because it may harm your health seriously if not used following your own doctor's prescription and advice..
anyway, Duromine is not the only diet pill over there, some others are over-the-counter, so no prescription needed, such as alli...
all the best luck!

hmm.. on duromine and smoking. that is a smoking question for a good doctor :)
A general rule for any prescription drug (duromine or others) as stated by the FDA:
* Talk with your doctor and have a physical exam before you get any new medicine for the first time.
* Use ONLY medicine that has been prescribed by your doctor or another trusted professional who is licensed in the U.S. to write prescriptions for medicine.
* Ask your doctor if there are any special steps you need to take to fill your prescription.
i hope it helps :)

After putting on alot of weight (got up to 130kgs ) after injuring my leg 3 mths ago my doc put me on 30mg duromine.
After 4 weeks I have lost 11 kgs.
I follow a Jenny Craig diet and Im monitored at the gym daily for an hour doing rehab exercises.Apart from the dry mouth, inflamed gums, which I can handle, my heart races whilst exercising so bad that I am continuously trying to bring it down (gets up to 170bpm) my resting rate is 130. Pre duromine it was 110. Is this a real concern for me? I feel it is and are reluctant to tell doc as he only wants me on these pills for another two months, as he said they are too addictive.
so I've got another two months to really try to get as close to 100kgs as possible. I'm pretty busy person with four kids so I'm always on the go even with a strapped up leg. Maybe this is another side effect feeling too anxious. Any ideas on the heart rate issue would be appreciated as I feel quite faint after exercises even when Im doing everything else right (I even upped my calories thinking my body may need it).

I would like to try Duromine. I am currently exercising quite a bit and trying diets, but struggling to drop anything. Can you tell me what the effects are of taking it with Prozac. I am feeling really desparate and need to be a bridesmaid in 8 weeks. I weigh 96kgs and am only 164cm tall....
My flatmate is about 155cm tall and I think she is somewhere between 75-80kg and has been prescribed 15mg Duromine. The doctor did not do any tests on her and did not ask any questions when handing over the prescription. She is on anti-depressants which I do not know what they are called and she also smokes pot. I have told her that she should not be doing all 3 at once and has told me that she isn't but I have a feeling that she is. I am a Personal Trainer and have tried to encourage her to come for a walk with me and come down to the studio for a workout but she is not interested. What I am worried about is the mix of these drugs together. Mixing pot with Duromine I would assume are opposites and I do not want to come home to find her passed out on the floor or worse and for her to end up in hospital. Can you tell me what the effects would be on her body for mixing these together.
A general rule for any prescription durg (so Duromine 15mg, 30mg or 40mg..included) is to consult with your own doctor for any intake or combination with other drugs. please bear in mind that duromine is a drug that may seriously harm your health integrity if not taken as your own doctor prescribes and advises. don't be in a hurry and think of the side effects, over dosage, contraindications, health-harm ...that duromine may bring with.
a drug is a drug and as once said :
mister Drug is the son of mister Poison :)
the duromine review above is a full one, and one of the most complete I ever read over duromine info. thanks folks.

I am looking to buy duromine within the UK can anyone point me in the right direction??? Any help would be very appreciated! Many thanks louise_inman@hotmail.co.uk
If Duromine is discontinued in the UK. Just try to have your doctor prescribe for you another diet pill than Duromine or try other over-the-counter diet pills that are widely available online such as alli.
I've been taking 30mg duromine for 15 days and noticed that im having a hard time achieving erection. How long will it take to return to normal? Note that i have a very active sex life in my pre duromine days. Im contemplating on not taking my remaining 15 caps.

Duromine is an illegal drug in some countries. Somehow it is obtainable through black market. Be extra careful of the authenticity. I had (under a doctor supervision) used the drug for two months. Drastic result - lost almost ten kg. But suffered other side effect like dehydration. After the course, my weight increased rapidly regardless of diet food intake and regular exercise. My doctor suspect I lose water more than burnt fats while taking the drug. So after stopped, my body started to gain water back. That's what suppresent does - according to him.
Halo there, im on my second day of duromine and have noticed no change in weight or any reduction in my rolls of fat.Call me pessimistic but could it be that duromine doesnt work for me?i read the other posts and saw how others lose some weight or 2kg in jus days.I have done mesotherapy before and it did nothing to my fat thus im worried im gona be disappointed again with duromine. Can anyone who tried tell me how soon u see the fat loss?Extremely grateful
i am currently taking glutathione and is planning of taking duromine as well....i don't know if i'm overweight since i've stopped checking months ago...but i am ABSOLUTELY SURE that i gained a lot of weight during the holidays...and may be even overweight by now..could i take duromine to lose the extra pounds..?thank you.
I have been on Duromine 40's for about 10 days. I have experienced excruciating pain and cramping on 2 occassions over the time. Is this normal. The cramping only lasts until the nurofen i take kicked in. Is this normal. I recently had a miscarriage PRIOR to starting on Duromine and I'm trying to figure out if it's the duromine and what others' experience and solutions.
i now also using duromine 30mg,i'm just 19 yeas old,i just eat about 15 pill only!i'm so scare next time when i big can't pregnany, duromine eat 2 much can pregnant?hope u will help me...thank you...
Both Duromine (Phentermine 15mg, 30mg or 40mg) and Prozac (and many other: Viagra, Xenical, Reductil (Sibutramine) and such) are prescription drugs, at least in US, any usage combination of these drugs must be supervised closely by your own doctor. I would not endanger my health taking prescription drugs without consulting my doctor to be sure of any effect or side effect.

Hi,
Most Duromine (15mg, 30mg or 40mg) side effects and cases where you should avoid Duromine are clearly stated above in this Duromine review. It's already mentioned above (among others) that you MUST tell your doctor if you are pregnant or intending to become pregnant and you want to use Duromine diet pill at the same time. In this review, it is enough stressed that Duromine is a prescription drug!!!!!.Consult with your doctor if you see any of Duromine Duromine side effects mentioned above.
Any diet pill (including Duromine, alli, Trimpsa, Reductil..and many others) now on the market is only a temporary solution to your weight problems, and NONE of them come without (serious) side effects (sometimes more than you may imagine!) so I always advise to lose weight progressively because you've gained it up in a progressive way, in addition to a healthier life style and reasonable physical activity. Another advise, if you are not that overweight and you are healthy, don't kill yourself trying to match the stereotypes of those skinny girls on those fake beauty reviews. be happy, accept and love your body. enjoy your life! all the best:)

Anyway, you're supposed to be taking Duromine (15mg, 30mg or 40mg) following your doctor's prescription, so it's advisable to inform your doctor for any side effects while using Duromine.
You're already feeling some side effects, it means Duromine is "working", BUT don't forget to use this diet pill within a diet plan.
A friendly advice:
- Eat healthier,
- Be more active
and last but not least: Love yourself and Be patient towards your goal. You can do it too. Good luck :)

I have been taking duromine 40mg for about 10 months now (had various months off throughout this time)and have succesfully lost 30 kgs and still going, through alot of exercise and diet changes also. I was 120kgs and had tried everything with little or no effect on my weight until now! I suffered minor side effects probably the worst the dry mouth but that just makes me drink more water which is needed anyway for successful weight loss. I also still drink alcohol with no side effects. In my opinion this is my miracle drug and swear by it!!!!
I am currently on duromine and i have not been having any sleep for 3 days now and i took a sleeping pill to help. is that bad?
Not having any sleep for 3 days while on Duromie might be very bad for your health, please do inform your doctor as soon as possible and seek medical advice from him/her about combining sleeping pills and Duromine , as drug combinations might be harmful too. I would NOT lose my health while trying to lose weight!!!
Duromine and Ionamin are both popular commercial trade names and slow release Resin version of the generic Phentermine diet pill. As Duromine, Ionamin is a prescription drug, so you must check with your doctor, pharmacist or professional care provider before using it. Good luck!

Have been taking Duromine 30g but find I can't get past 4 days on it without needing a break, , it seems to be working. But I also semm to be experienceing all the symptoms, so by the 4 day i feel like a mess. wondered if anyone else finds they need to have a break for a couple of days. I asked at Chemist and they didn't seem to think there would be a problem with doing that.

I've taken Duromine in the past, and my experience has been that for the first 1-2 wks the side effects can be bad - light headed, headaches, breakouts in skin, dry mouth, tiredness, insomnia etc. Personally, I found that this improved after the first couple of weeks. Its not a long term drug, so after 3 months that's it (for 12 months). I lost 7kg in 3 weeks, and it was a great feeling, but unfortunately as soon as i went off it the weight gradually crept back on. the good thing about it is that it gives you a taste of what its like to lose weight - and have people notice. then you want to keep going.
good luck everyone!
good luck everyone!
Hi, I want to start taking Duromine but have second thoughts as I was brousing through the review. I bought a box but over the counter, not prescribed. I wanted to know if you can take Duromine with birth control pills. Greatly appreciate your comment on this.
I used Duromine a few years ago & did see results, so did everyone else. The thing is when yI did lose the weight it came off so rapidly I ended up looking abit sick. There are alot of side effects, headaches, chronic insomnia, dry mouth, moody and high energy to very weak. All in all it did work but only use as a last resort. I tried it about 4 more times over 6 years and didn' have the same effect as the first time.
I'am taking Duromine since one month ago, and I still so hungry I don't feel no efect, I used to take generic Phentermine of 35mg, 4 pills daily, and help me alot, but now I don't feel anything taking Duromine, waht can I do?
Hi, I have been taking duromine pills for 2 and a half months and lost 10kg..the tablet is very effectective. Can you please help,my skin has broken out quite badly also leaving lots of black marks, is there something i can use to get rid of the marks?
Duromine is a Phentemine drug anyway. Generally Phentermine drugs are for short-term usage(usually interpreted as 'up to 12 weeks' then it might lose its effect!)
Concerning skin rashes, this is a known Duromine side effect as mentioned in this Duromine review above (among so many Duromine side effects). You should inform your doctor or pharmacist to physically judge the seriousness of such side effect in your case.
Best wishes.

I was about 70kg after I gave birth and wanted to lose weight fast so a very good friend of mine recommended me Duromine. My doctor prescribed 30mg for the first three months then 15mg afterwards. He told me the key to a successful weight loss is plenty of water before, during, after every meal and a healthy diet followed by a daily exercise regime.Eat your vegies followed by meat then carbs(if I'm not wrong)and once I reach my target weight,I should stop the medication and continue with the eat/rest/play-well-routine.
Pros:- Dramatic effect to the extend that all my friends thought I abused drugs(lol),
- Energetic.
- Ate less.
Cons:- Ulcers in mouth may develop if you neglect doubling your H2O intake.
- Mood swings just like when pms-ing.
- Excessive sweating.
- Constipation(I drink prune juice)

I have been on duramine for 3 months and the results have been great. But, as you know it is short term and i have implimented better eating and exercise. The innsomnia was bad and my question is, how long after discontinuing use does this drug remain in your system, when will the symptoms dissappear?
Let me share my experience with you while on duromine. Since being on it, I have had a high sense of well-being and euphoria.
Before I started duromine,I used to be lazy, constantly hungry and munching on junk food, sleeping way too early and too long. I used to yawn all the time at work & felt too tired or bored to engage in any sort of conversation. I had occasional funny tingling on my hands and legs at night (restless leg syndrome?). I just felt I had no proper sense of direction in life and just wanted to eat and crumble in bed all day. I was also moody all the time and thinking negative thoughts. Lets just assume I was on the brink of depression. My weight reached a high of 55kg and this to me, didn't look great for my 5ft 1 frame...and I swear I looked so much shorter.
Then I discoverd duromine. I was getting more and more depressed with my weight, so I decided to give it a try. A friend gave me a 30mg capsule. At first I was skeptical. I had tried all sorts of diet pills including xenical and shakes and supplements (i must've spent over a thousand bucks!) but nothing worked. Then on my very 1st day of duramine, I had SUCH a high. I was chatty, perked up at work, felt a bit restless but that only made me do MORE work, and I became so productive that I finished this research project within 3 nights!!! On top of that, my cravings for junk food and snacks had gone. I felt so comfortably full throughout the day, though I managed to squeeze in a healthy lunch ( I could only pick on the veggies) and I drank lots o& lots of mineral water all day (duromine made me so thirsty) and this was cool for me as this made me avoid unhealthy drinks such as coffee !! I am NOT kidding ---> in the morning I was 54.5kg and by 6pm I was 52.5kg. 2 days later I dropped another 2kg. Oh yeah thats right I couldn't sleep at night but I was able to get my reports and teaching preparation ready in advance! Plus my mind was working well, and I came up with some great ideas for my report. I became such a cheerful person, and even when my hubby was mad at me for some silly things, I could only respond with a smile, as I cannot feel any form of anger in me.
When i did sleep, my eyes automaticaly opened at 430-5am, and i didn't need to throw my alarm clock any longer. I was so excited to start the day off and was (good gosh!) actually looking forward for work! I lost a bit more weight, currently i am 47-48kg, and not keen on going lower than that because I have achieved my lower end of my BMI (19). I'm actually back to my old eating habits and can eat more now, but the great thing is i am able to maintain it because duromine just makes you move more. SInce being on it, I just want to exercise constantly!
WHat i`m sharing is different from other ppl's responses i`ve come across with. Various friends who have been on it had some negative effects - notably severe migraines, depression and anxiety, hard of hearing/tinnitus, tingling, lisping and difficulty articulating words etc. I am so relieved I haven't experienced any of them....it's been 3 months since I started duromine, mind. The only thing I notice is my lack of liido....unfavourable to some but not to me!
I `m just sharing my own personal experience with duromine. With it, all my symptoms of tingling, tiredness and cravings were demolished!! It gave me such a feeling of wellbeing and I am no longer this emotional, depressed and lazy person. Duromine has been my miraculous cure for all the things I hated about myself initially.

Hi,
I have been using duromine 15mg prescrbed by my gyneacologist for 2 months almost. Results are exceptional. Don't have cravings for junk food. Reason for me having to go on this is that i have an extremely high of insulin in my body and have been battling to loose my weight even with healthy dit and exercise prior to visiting my doctor. Initial weight was 74kg. By my first visit, and i had loast 5.5kgs!!! Do't quite know what i weigh now, cos i don't weigh myself until i get to the doctor's rooms. Positively though i have lost at least 9 cm thus far. I feel and look great. Oh, and the i have never been more sexually aroused than ever before! Wow, even my husband is concerned with my increased sexual stimulation, i just cannot get enough!!!

Hi Everyone, I too am worried about putting the weight I have lost back on or even more when I stop taking Duromine. Would love to hear some success stories, and let us know if it is hard to keep it off? I'm thinking if we exercise and eat properly we should be okay??? P.S. Congrats to all the people who have lost weight, how empowered and good you must feel... Welldone!
hi,
i would just like to share a short testimony with you all.
before starting on Duromine, i was quite afraid of all the side effects, such as mental disturbances, acne breakouts, lethargy, insomnia, etc, because my friend had tried it before and lost a lot of weight, but suffered severe mental disturbances. according to her, she would dwell on minor issues, often take a paper and pen and write what's on her mind repeatedly, and hang on the brink of depression.
however, i decided to still go ahead with it as i really needed to lose the weight. it is now the end of my second day and i feel great!
there were absolutely no mental disturbances, and the fact that it stimulates your fight or flight mechanism is great, coz now my diet is healthier with the elimination of excessive amounts of caffeine every morning.
in addition, i'm more productive at work, since i dont feel hungry. and because i dont feel like eating much, i eat healthier, lighter meals, like grabbing a banana or some yoghurt, as opposed to fast food or processed food.
lastly, because i'm so hyped up and productive at work, i'm pretty much exhausted by the time i get home, and so there aren't any insomnia problems.
perhaps the only side effects i experience is a dry mouth, so i'm thirsty more often than usual. but i take it as a good thing, because it increases my water intake (i was often so busy at work i hardly drink any water) and we all know that lots of water is good for your health!
all in all, it's working great for me, although i havent noticed any weight loss yet (but then again it's only been 2 days).
my advice would be to give it a go, no matter how much people tell you how bad the side effects can be, because every person has his/her own body chemistry. if it really turns out to affect you badly, then stop. being healthy mentally and emotionally is worth much more than looking pretty.
but if you're lucky like me, then you'll enjoy the best of it :)
good luck!

I have been taking Duromine now for 9 months, I have had no adverse side effects and have lost a total of 25kg (55.12lbs). I am losing weight with the help of an endocrinologist who has prescribed me this along with Lovan which controls emotional eating . I feel fantastic and have been using these along with VLCD shakes. The results are awesome. All I can suggest is ..make sure you see your doctor and have him monitor your progress. It will take a few weeks for the medication to begin working in your system. Be patient and see the results. Best of Luck.
where can i buy duromine.i was on them about 20yrs ago and they were great.i stopped smoking 2 years ago and i am now 3 stone heavier.
DESPERATE.
DESPERATE.
I've been on Duromine 40mg for 6 days now and it's the best thing i've ever had! I've had none of the side affects and no problems sleeping. I have more energy, but am not "speeding" or anything like that.
Duromine has helped my moods even out and i finally have concentration and motivation.
I have been watching what i eat and been eating healthy to start a good eating pattern, plus i have been exercising. The thing that it has done for me the most, is cut out my sugar cravings, and that has really helped me.
I was a bit scared that i'd somehow magickally put on a heap of weight when i stop, but I don't think that will happen seeing as i am eating healthy foods. I'm also going to increase my exercise when i stop taking it to counter any possible extra eating due to my appetite not being surpressed.
Overall, I think Duromine is fantastic!

I have been taking Duromine for 4 days now. I have felt a shortness of breath and slight chest pain... Should I stop taking this medicine? I have already lost 2kgs in the last 4 days. So I am ecstatic with the results.
I RECENTLY WENT FROM WORKING FULL TIME AS A MANUAL LABOURER TO BEING A FULL TIME STUDENT> I NOW SUFFER FROM EXTREME LETHARGY SO MUCH SO THAT MY SCHOOLWORK IS SUFFERING. THIS IS THE BEST THING OUT FOR LETHARGY BUT UNFORTUNATELY MY DOCTOR WONT PRESCRIBE IT TO ME BECAUSE I AM NOT OVERWEIGHT. ANYONEONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT ELSE IT'S PRESCRIBED FOR OR HOW I CAN GET A REGULAR SUPPLY. PS I AM NOT A DRUG ABUSER, DON'T DRINK ALCAHOL - I JUST HAVE LETHARGY (LOW ENERGY LEVELS). PLEASE HELP.
